Join us for a fantastic day of wellness with our expert practitioners in the fields of Pilates and Sound Bathing. We have a brilliant itinerary, designed around these two disciplines and the day also includes a guided walk around stunning Torrisdale Estate.  There is the option to end the day at our unique riverside spa for a sauna, hot tub and ice bath.


10.00am to 10.30am Arrival Tea/Coffee/Smoothie Arrive at the distillery café and relax with a drink and meet with your fellow attendees.

10.30am to 12.30pm Pilates with Kath Nisbet
Kath is a fully qualified Polestar Pilates trainer, Somatics coach, a Hendrickson Method Manual Therapist and is a Franklin Method Educator.  She is in her third decade of teaching and is dedicated to bringing you cutting edge movement science.  Movements that are easily accessible and transferable to your daily life. Kath is a huge believer in ‘movement is medicine’ and everyone can benefit and improve how their body moves & feels, no matter what their current state!

In this 2 hour somatic-based Pilates session, we will focus on myofascial release, breathwork and realignment.

We will creatively use balls and bands to unwind deep held patterns of tension and enjoy the freedom of a flexible relaxed happy body.

This class is suitable for all levels and modifications will be given for any conditions if necessary.

12.30pm to 1.30pm Lunch A seasonal lunch will be served either outside or in the private Gin School.

1.30pm to 2.30pm Sound Bath with Michael Wintle-Brown
If you’re new to the concept, a Sound Bath is a deeply immersive listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite therapeutic and restorative effects to the mind and body. Listening to the sound of harmonic vibrations created by singing bowls, gongs, and chimes can be a meditative, peaceful, and restful experience, and help you into a relaxed state. All you have to do is be comfortable and listen.

2.30pm to 3.00pm Tea/Coffee/Smoothie

3.00pm to 3.30pm Woodland Walk
Enjoy a guided walk through Torrisdale’s fabulous woodlands.  We will point out the champion trees and wildlife on our way to the hot tub and sauna.

3.30pm to 4.30pm Sauna and Hot Tub
A complimentary optional extra! Relax in our wood-fired hot tub and sauna down by the river.  We even have an ice bath for you to plunge into after your sauna – a practice in Nordic countries which goes back many years and has been linked to numerous health benefits.

Head for home feeling relaxed, content and human again!

What to wear and bring

Please wear clothing that’s easy to move in, and let us know in advance of any health or other issues that are relevant. We also need to know about any dietry requirements.

For the sound bath, please bring a comfortable mat, a pillow and a blanket.

If you intend to join us for the sauna, hot tub and cold water session, then please bring swimwear and a towel.
