Tuesdays & Thursdays | 11am or 2pm | £4 per child | Booking Essential

Let your little explorers run wild (safely!) at our Woodland School sessions, led by the ever-enthusiastic Ranger Steve. These hour-long outdoor adventures are packed with nature-inspired crafts, wildlife facts, and creative play – perfect for curious minds and muddy hands!
What to Expect:
Each session begins with a fun buggy ride down to our dedicated woodland school site. Once there, Steve will kick things off with a short, engaging chat about an interesting wildlife topic – previous themes have included bats, slow worms, Jurassic-era plants, and the secrets of seeds and cones.
Then it’s time to get hands-on! Activities vary week to week but could include:
🌱 Mud face making
🌿 Den building
⛵ Raft racing in the burn
🌳 Free play time to explore, imagine and unwind in nature
Booking is essential as spaces are limited – sessions run every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am or 2pm throughout the summer holidays.
£4 per child. Suitable for nursery and primary school age, under-8s must be supervised (even younger siblings welcome to observe with supervision). See our booking page for more information and T&Cs.
Whether you’ve got a budding naturalist or just a child who loves to get mucky and creative outdoors, Woodland School is a summer highlight not to be missed.
